Accessing the Collections at the Avery Research Center
The Phillis Wheatly Literary and Social Club Reading Room is now open by appointment only. Appointment options and procedures may change as institutional policies develop, best practices continue to emerge, or where circumstances merit adjustments.
- All in-person research will be by appointment only. Walk-in appointments will not be permitted.
- Occupancy in the Reading Room will be limited to one researcher appointment (max 2 people/appointment) at any given time

The Avery Research Center will be offering virtual services for the Spring and Summer 2021 semesters.
We welcome inquiries from all users, regardless of affiliation.
