    Exhibition Opening: Varied Voices: Cultural Expressions of a Revolutionary Era

    Exhibition Opening and Reception
    Saturday, September 15, 2012, 6:00pm
    The Avery Research Center for African American History and Culture will open an exhibition showcasing distinctive source materials reflecting the Black Experience from the collection of Imam Hakim Abdul – Ali. This exhibition correlates with the Black Power Conference being held on September 21- 22, 2012. The exhibition and opening reception are free and open to the public, though donations are welcome and appreciated.
