Tour

We are truly excited to be bringing back our South Carolina HBCU tour! The Avery Research Center Outreach Team will be visiting South Carolina Historically Black Colleges and Universities in an effort to connect their campuses with The Avery, and enlighten them on the Student Leadership Awards. This interactive 6 stop tour will help us engage with students on each campus, give more details on the Student Leadership Awards, and be able to answer questions in real time. We look forward to meeting the amazing scholars and educators on this tour.

HOLIDAY HOURS: We will be closing at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, December 20th and reopening on Tuesday, January 2nd at 10am.

MUSEUM TOURS: The Avery Research Center offers self-guided tours Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1030AM-12PM and 2PM-330PM. For large groups we ask you limit 25 people or fewer per time slot for self-guided tours. Due to staffing shortages Avery will not be offering guided tours to the general public for the remainder of 2023.

ARCHIVES: Researchers must have a consultation BEFORE making a research appointment.
